About

Fashion

At the age of 15, I already knew that I wanted a lifestyle brand, but I had no idea how to get there back then. What I did know what that I wanted to study 3 things at college (cosmetology, fashion, accessory design), but could only pick one.

I started with fashion and even had my own line for a while in the mid-00s. I handmade corset dresses with hoods and pockets, but I stopped after someone bought one of my dresses to add the design to their collection and pass it off as their own. Right now I feed my passion via my Instagram, but I know I’ll get into another collection at some point in the future. Until then…

Beauty

As mentioned above, cosmetology was something I’d wanted to get into, I’ve dabbled in make-up before, but it always felt like a chore [unintentional BARS]. Lip products, however, lip products have always been a fave. Now is as good a time as any to fulfil one of my passions. I always wanted to include my go-to colours and textures that always get

Music

Music has always been a huge part of my life, from the age of 6 I was recording my favourite shows on the radio, buying dancehall mixtapes as an adolescent to getting my neighbour to teach me how to DJ at 18. After a few lessons and a couple of mixtapes, I left DJing alone for over a decade. I never had an end goal to this passion, it was just something that I absolutely adored. I never thought I’d be making an income from it.

Courses and E-Books

I’ve been freelancing since 2010, during that time I’ve picked up a lot of transferable skills and made certain lifestyle choices that have helped me in life. I would love to share with you.

One of which is the ability to build and maintain my own websites; I have done this for myself and others, I’ve even taught others to build, maintain and personalise their own robust websites. So I’ll be wrapping this up in a course and training it out.

Another thing is my outlook on life and my reaction to certain situations; I used to flip out the moment someone crossed me, bridges burned all the way down. Over the last few years, I’ve changed my approach and response to certain situations, as well as not letting certain people in, to upset my spirit. My ‘I Know That’s Right’ e-book is coming soon, giving daily quotes, affirmations and words of wisdom.

The last thing (for now) is around a huge change that I’ve made over the last year to become consistent with working out and to make it a part of my lifestyle. I’ve gone from never wanting to work out, to working out 3-5 times a week and loving it for the most part.

People are constantly asking me how I’ve done this and how I stay motivated. So I’m in the process of writing this up in an e-book that will include tips and tricks of how to get started and how to stay on it.
